Available online as Open Access article, the last scientific paper of Nobil Bio Ricerche “New collagen-coated calcium phosphate synthetic bone filler (Synergoss):A compartive surface analysis”, published by the International Journal of Applied Ceramic Technology. The scope of this paper is to compare, by a combination of advanced surface analysis techniques, the surface properties of Synergoss® and the most used bone fillers present on the market. Nobil Bio Ricerche at the EAO in Madrid

Nobil Bio Research will be present as exhibitor (stand B68) at the congress of the European Association for Osseointegration in Madrid from October 5th to October 7th. Synergoss bone filler and surface treatment process, will be presented. The company also participates in the scientific conference, with two posters in the basic research session.

Giorgio Iviglia, biomedical engineer in Nobil Bio Ricerche R&D department, wins Paolo Durst 2017 PhD award established by the “Gruppo Nazionale di Bioingegneria”, with his thesis “DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT AND CHARACTERIZATION OF NOVEL BIOMATERIALS FOR PERIODONTAL TISSUE ENGINEERING”, conducted in the context of the doctoral degree in cooperation with Politecnico di Torino and Nobil Bio Ricerche. The award will be delivered during the XXXVIII Scuola Annuale del Gruppo Nazionale di Bioingegneria, that will be held September 17-22 in Bressanone, strengthening the solid basis of our company’s scientific work.

Available online as Open Access article, the last scientific review paper of Nobil Bio RicercheMolecular signalling mechanisms behind polyphenol-induced bone anabolism”, by Dr. Elisa Torre, MSc in Biology, published by the international review journal Phytochemistry Reviews. Elisa’s article resumes the basic knowledge underlying the research works performed by Nobil Bio Ricerche concerning the use of new molecules in next generation biomaterials to be employed in the fields of bone regeneration and implantology.  Download the article.

Nobil Bio Research gives a talk at Basic Research session at the meeting of the European Academy for Osseointegration

Dr. Marco Morra, from Nobil Bio Ricerche, will present the latest results of ongoing studies on innovative materials for bone regeneration on Friday 30 September at the Basic Research session of the EAO meeting in Paris. The studies aims at understanding the role of selected molecules of natural origin in tissue regeneration processes.

Nobil Bio Ricerche’s research presented at the World Biomaterial Congress 2016 at Montreal

The studies conducted by Nobil Bio Ricerche on an innovative material for bone regeneration will be presented at the prestigious headquarter of the 10th world congress on biomaterials, which will be held in Canada, Montreal, on May 2016. Nobil Bio Ricerche will present a communication entitled: “Dreamer, an innovative bone filler paste for the treatment of periodontitis” in the biomaterial section of dental applications.

Clinical study on dental implants with hyaluronic acid nano-coating has been completed

It has been completed at the Universty of Pavia, the study of Nobil Bio Ricerche on the first clinical application of dental implants in titanium with bio molecular coating. The study is an important step forward on the making of implant surfaces in the future.

The European project MOZART has begun

20 November 2015

With a kick-off meeting held at the Politecnico of Turin, the research project MOZART (MesopOrous matrices for localiZed pH-triggered releAse of theRapeuTic ions and drugs) financed by the European community has begun. The project, with a 4.65 million euro budget, involves 11 partners of 8 counties, and includes 6 excellent university institutes and 5 PMI of high technology, including Nobil Bio Ricerch. The objective of the project it’s the making of new materials for bone regeneration and wounds healing. Under the project, Nobil Bio Ricerche is project leader for the work package that handles design and production of devices for bone generation.
