Our History
NobilBio History
Founded in Villafranca d’Asti, initially focusing on dental prosthetics.
The company’s expertise soon expanded to include analysis, research, and development of
surface properties for medical devices.
The company shifted its focus to providing premium surface treatments for dental implants, driven by growing demand from local OEMs and its recognised expertise and know-how in the field.
Nobil Bio relocated to its current production site in Portacomaro, featuring 4,500 m² of space divided between production areas, research laboratories, and a cleanroom.
Rising market demand led to an expansion of facilities guided by a policy of sustainability and low environmental impact. The workforce also increased to 16 employees.
After years of research and development, Synergoss ® , a synthetic bone filler, was certified, marking the beginning of a new era for Nobil Bio Ricerche as a manufacturer of Class III medical devices.
For the first time in its history, Nobil Bio Ricerche surpassed one million treated implants in a single year, while its workforce grew to 21 employees.
Automated production lines for implant surface treatment were introduced, a challenging and complex project capable of handling various implant designs while ensuring precision, quality, and consistency.
Thanks to a process that began more than ten years ago, new generations of surfaces are now taking shape, combining biochemical and physical stimulation, with the potential to expand the surface treatment market to other types of devices beyond dental implants, such as prosthetic
components.
